I was just appointed as a new Director of XYZ Limited, it’s listed on the ASX. Does the ASX give presentations in person or online on the ASX listing rules?

Answer:

ASX from time to time travels the country when there is a major change in ASX Listing Rules or there is a change in the ASX Corporate Governance Council Corporate  Governance Principles and Recommendations. Other than that, short answer is No, ASX doesn’t provide in person or virtual presentations on the ASX Listing Rules.

Question:

How can I learn about ASX Listing Rules as a new Director?

Answer:

You could read all 11 modules of the ASX Listing Rules Compliance Course. However, whilst comprehensive and referring to the ASX Listing Rules and Guidance Notes, you may have information overload after reading all of this information. This will take approximately 10-15 hours to completely absorb.
